Once again Deccan came up with 3 people short of 11. After losing the toss Deccans were given a chance to bat by CSK. Deccan openers did not do well and both got out in first couple of overs. Then came captain of Deccan who stood their knowing they do not have enough to bat saving his wicket till end along with Hamid and Nizam. Hamid hit 5 sixes and Nizam hit 6 sixes with his first fifty at Cromwell. These three took Deccans to a fighting score of 156. 
CSK started well and from the beginning they were going with their required run rate. There were many extras given by Deccans making it easy for CSK. Babar was the only bowler who has bowled decent and up to mark. CSK kept losing wickets which increased their required rate.In the last 5 overs CSK needed only 65 runs when CSK took power play and both Ali Jutt and Zaid with their pace bowling limited CSK in these overs. In the last three overs CSK needed 35 runs. Babar in the last over getting the last wicket of CSK making it a victory for Deccans.
