Cardinal Knights won the toss and elected to bowl first. Sairaj Kappari and Aayush Ghand came out to bat for Marshal Sixers to start their innings. Marshal got off to a good start as they scored 30 in the first 4 overs. Prateek Rohela gave Cardinal Knights their first breakthrough by taking the wicket of Aayush Ghand. Sairaj Kappari held one end of the innings. Akshya Rajendra Prasad and Karthik Swaminathan both scored quick fire 21 and Krupa Pratap Brahmkstri scored 14 of 4 balls to take Marshal Sixers to 156 for 6 at the end of 16 Overs.

Chasing 157 for the win, Cardinal Knights started the innings with Shruti Narula . After this, Vikas Rajgopal and Bhumik Patel came out to bat for Cardinal Knights. Bhumik Patel scored 18 off 9 balls to give Cardinal Knights a quick start in their run chase. Once Bhumik Patel got out, Vaibhav Oberoi and Vikas Rajgopal continued to score briskly to keep required run rate in check. Aayush Ghand came into bowl and took 3 wickets in 2 overs, to slow down Cardinal Knights in their run chase. Vikas Rajgopal continued to play his shots from one end and Sohan Shetty gave him good support to take Cardinal Knights closer to victory.
