Cromwell Champs vs Marshall Sixers match report

Cromwell Champs continued good form for the season and won their 3rd game against Marshal Sixers!

Batting first CC lost in form Ankit Nagarle in the 2nd over but Gaganjot Singh gave the initial momentum by scoring quick 17 that included two sixes. After losing both openers by 4th over; Rana Aijaz (32 of 19) looked to steady the innings and with some good support from Aditya Shah, Raghav Ramesh, Armaan Kamra and Hrishikesh Saraf, CC was able to put a good total of 133 in allotted 15 overs. Tarun Sandhu was outstanding with the ball and ended up with figures of 3-0-5-2. Nivian Malik and Vikas Rajgopal took 3 wickets each.

Chasing 133 MS were looking good at 59 for 1 by 7th over. Sensible bowling by Parmeet Singh (3-0-22-2) and Mayur Shah (3-0-17-2) along with some outstanding catches by Bilal Masood and Armaan Kamra; MS batting collapsed and were all out for 103 in the 15th over. Nivian Malik played well for his 40 and Tarun Sandhu was the only other batsman to get into double figures.

CC plays their next game on March 13th against Trojan Tigers!
