Thanks to some outstanding performances by experienced players backed by excellent efforts by rookies that showed lot of promise. Batting first CC scored 182/3 in 15 overs. Leading from the frontGaganjot Singh scored 72 off 33 hitting 8 sixes and was well supported byAnkith Nagarle who scored 42 before getting retired hurt. Late blows byParmeet Singh (16 of 5) enabled CC to put a good total on the board.
Chasing 183 Leavey Lions lost early wickets but kept a healthy scoring rate to stay in hunt for the target. Brilliant batting by LL captain Saptesh Sawantwhich included 4 sixes in one over and Samrudh brought game really close with LL requiring 47 of 3 overs. Excellent last few overs by Sneh Kishan, Ankith Nagarle and experienced Siddharth Thakur along with outstanding fielding efforts by Armaan Kamra and Gautham K Rao ensured CC winning by 15 runs.
